WARRIORS ACQUIRE HODDER FROM TIGERS

Medicine Hat, AB – Medicine Hat Tigers announced this afternoon they have moved closer to resolving their 20-year-old player situation with the trade of defenseman Zach Hodder to the Moose Jaw Warriors.

In return, the Tigers will receive a conditional draft pick in next spring’s bantam draft.

“Zach played a key role in a push for a playoff spot for last season,” said Tigers’ g.m./head coach Shaun Clouston. We want to thank Zach for his contribution to the Tiger’s organization and wish him all the best in Moose Jaw.”

With the trade, the Tigers now have four 20-year-old players remaining with the team, Jacob Doty and Boston Leier who are currently at NHL training camps along with Curtis Valk and Dylan Bredo, one over the WHL limit of three 20-year-olds.

The team also announced this afternoon the reassignment of a trio of 17-year-old players. Goaltender Keelan Williams, forward Riley Wozniak and defenseman Nathyn Mortlock return to their respective home town teams.
