Michal Kvasnica will make his season debut with the Vancouver Giants Friday when they begin a weekend road trip through the U.S. Division.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward from Ostrava, Czech Republic was listed by the Giants last week. The 19-year-old import winger was originally chosen by the Portland Winterhawks in the second round, 115th overall, of the 2019 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

In 66 games during the 2018-19 Western Hockey League Regular Season, Kvasnica posted 20 points (8G-12A), including one game-winning goal. He also appeared in one game during the 2019 WHL Playoffs. Kvasnica had appeared in two DHL Cup games with HC Oceláři Třinec this season, posting two points (1G-1A). He was also loaned to HC Frydek-Mistek of the Second Czech Republic Hockey League, recording three points (2G-1A) in 21 games.

The Spokane Chiefs host the Giants on Friday, November 29 (7:05 p.m.  PT) at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.
