This year the Western Hockey League (WHL) and RE/MAX of Western Canada have teamed up to support local Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) branches in each Canadian WHL market across Western Canada. Through the Goals for Mental Health Campaign RE/MAX is donating $15 for every goal scored by WHL Clubs in 17 Western Canadian markets this season.

Since January 2017, the WHL has worked with local CMHA’s to deliver the Talk Today program to all 22 WHL markets. The Talk Today program includes an education component called safeTALK for WHL players, providing mental health training specific to suicide awareness. Each WHL team is also linked to a CMHA Mental Health Coach, who provides support and resources to players, coaches, and staff in need.

Now we’re challenging fans to also help support mental health in their community by donating to the campaign. By donating through this fan challenge page, you’ll be adding to RE/MAX’s support and helping CMHA’s contribute to mental health resources in every WHL community across Western Canada.

RE/MAX is the Official Real Estate Agent of the WHL and a proud supporter of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). RE/MAX is committed to promoting positive mental health in Western Canada.

* RE/MAX’s aggregate donation will be capped at $20,000 CAD for the 2020-21 WHL season
