2019 Western Hockey League Playoffs Three Stars: Saturday, April 20, 2019

1. Jared Dmytriw, Vancouver Giants: The Giants’ captain scored a pair of goals in Saturday’s 4-2 win over the Spokane Chiefs in Game 2 of the Western Conference Championship. Dmytriw scored his goals in a 22-second span to take the Giants’ from a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 lead.

The Craven, Sask. product has 12 points (6G-6A) in 12 games during the 2019 WHL Playoffs. He also has 23 points (11G-12A) in 45 WHL Playoff games for his career.

2. Jake Neighbours, Edmonton Oil Kings: The Edmonton Oil Kings rookie forward scored a goal and added an assist for the two-point night in his team’s 4-3 overtime victory against the Prince Albert Raiders in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Championship. Neighbours earned a primary assist on Edmonton’s first goal of the game, then scored 14:49 into overtime to deliver his team a victory.

In his first taste of WHL Playoffs action, the Airdrie, Alta. product has 11 points (4G-7A) in 12 games.

3. Dawson Holt, Vancouver Giants: The Giants forward scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday’s 4-2 win over the Spokane Chiefs in Game 2 of the Western Conference Championship. Holt opened the scoring for the Giants then drew the lone assist on the game-winning goal by captain Dmytriw.

The Saskatoon, Sask. product now has 11 points (4G-7A) in 12 games during the 2019 WHL Playoffs. For his WHL Playoff career, Holt has 19 points (6G-13A) in 19 games.
