2019 Western Hockey League Playoffs Three Stars: Tuesday, April 2, 2019

1. Carson Focht, Calgary Hitmen: The Hitmen forward scored twice in a 4-2 win Tuesday, sending his team into the second round of the 2019 WHL Playoffs. Focht’s multi-goal game saw him score the first and third goals of the game for Calgary.

The Regina, Sask. product finished the seven-game series with seven points (4G-3A).

2. Jack McNaughton, Calgary Hitmen: The Hitmen goaltender was strong once again for Calgary Tuesday, stopping 25 of 27 shots in a 4-2 win against the Hurricanes. McNaughton stopped 10 shots in the first, six in the second, and nine in the third period for the win. The Calgary, Alta. product finished the series with a 4-1 record, 3.63 goals-against average, and a .889 save percentage.

3. Riley Fiddler-Schultz, Calgary Hitmen: The Hitmen forward scored his first goal of the 2019 WHL Playoffs Tuesday in a 4-2 win against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Fiddler-Schultz’s goal was the second of the game for Calgary. The Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. product finished the series with a single goal after earning 11 points (4G-7A) in his rookie season.
