WHL Players at NHL Development Camps: Atlantic Division

More than 30 WHL players are heading east to take part in NHL development camps.

A total of 37 players representing 18 WHL clubs are shipping out to Boston, Buffalo, Detroit, Florida, Montreal, Ottawa, Tampa Bay and Toronto to participate in Atlantic Division clubs’ development camps.

2017 first round NHL Draft picks Michael Rasmussen and Cal Foote highlight a class of high caliber prospects that also includes WHL Rookie of the Year Aleksi Heponiemi and former first round pick Brett Howden and 130-point scorer Adam Brooks.

Also included in that number are 11 WHL prospects attending camps on special invites, including 20-year-old Swift Current Broncos goaltender Jordan Papirny, Prince Albert Raiders forward Parker Kelly and Calgary Hitmen defenceman Vladamir Yeryomenko.
