Moose Jaw, SK — Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced that the team has traded 18-year-old forward Colton McCarthy to the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for a 6th round pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

McCarthy signed with the Warriors after attending their 2012 Training Camp, in the last two years he played 102 games, scoring eight goals and totaling 17 points.


Prince Albert, SK – The Raiders have acquired Colton McCarthy from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for a 6th round pick in 2016. McCarthy, of Salmon Arm B.C., is a 6’, 187 lb right handed shooting forward. McCarthy has spent the past two seasons in Moose Jaw where he played in 102 regular season games; the 96-born centre totalled 17 points (8 G, 9 A) and 95 penalty minutes.
