Layton Feist signs WHL Standard Player Agreement with Regina Pats

Regina, Sask.– The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have signed 2019 first-round WHL Bantam Draft pick Layton Feist to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

The 5-foot-9, 163-pound defenceman was selected 17th overall in the WHL Bantam Draft in early May.

“We are excited to have Layton commit to Regina,” said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Paddock. “Layton is going to be a big part of our team in the years to come.”

Feist, who hails from Dawson Creek, B.C, played the 2018-19 season with the Omaha North Zone Kings where he put up 22 points (8G-14A) in 20 games. He is the younger brother to current Pats defenceman Tyson Feist.
