Meet Team Western Hockey League for the 2018 CIBC Canada Russia Series! As one of five prospect eligible for the 2019 NHL Draft, and discussed as the top defenceman available, Vancouver Giants defenceman Bowen Byram will be under the watchful eye of NHL Scouts and fans alike.

Byram ranks sixth in WHL defensive scoring with 12 points (5G-7A) this season, and is tied for third in goals by WHL defencemen. The third overall selection from the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft has appeared in 85 WHL regular season games, recording 39 points (11G-28A), including four power-play goals and four game-winning goals.

Byram won gold at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and won silver with Canada Red at the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
