2009-10 - Moved from defense to forward early in the 09-10 season... One of four Hurricanes players: Mitch Maxwell – Magrath, AB; Max Ross – Lethbridge, AB; Mark Reners – Pincher Creek, AB and Cason Machacek – Lethbridge, AB who hail from the Lethbridge/Southern Alberta area... 2008-09 - A Lethbridge resident; Max Ross was re-listed by the Hurricanes in 08-09 and brought in to help fill the gap left by Luca Sbisa’s stint in the NHL... He began the 08-09 season in the AJHL before being recalled by the Canes in early November
