Biography

Acquired in a trade with the Vancouver Giants prior to the start of the 2007-08 season, Wacey played the 2006-07 season with the Camrose Kodiaks (AJHL), where he played alongside his older brother Wyatt. Wacey recorded his first WHL Regular Season point - an assist - in his first WHL game on September 21, 2007 against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, while his first WHL goal was scored on October 6, 2007 versus the Moose Jaw Warriors. Following his first season with the Tigers, Wacey was named the Tigers 2007-08 Rookie of the Year. The 2009-10 season saw Wacey play for Team WHL at the 2009 Super Series versus Russia.
