Born January 8th, 1991 in Edmonton, Alberta…acquired by the Blades from the Spokane Chiefs along with forward Chris Langkow and a conditional 3rd round Bantam Draft pick in 2009 in exchange for forward Justin McCrae on January 7th, 2008…originally selected by the Chiefs in the 2nd round (23rd overall) in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft…played his midget hockey with the Edmonton Canadian Athletic Club…made his WHL debut (as a member of the Spokane Chiefs) on March 3rd, 2007 versus the Everett Silvertips…made his debut in a Blades uniform on January 8th, 2008 versus the Edmonton Oil Kings…recorded his first point on September 26th, 2008 versus the Swift Current Broncos…scored his first goal on September 27th, 2008 versus the Swift Current Broncos…had his first multiple point game and multiple goal game on October 4th, 2008 versus the Tri-City Americans…recorded his first five-point game on January 10th versus the Moose Jaw Warriors.
