Biography
Linden was drafted by the Tigers in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft with the 42nd pick in the 2nd round. Linden recorded his first WHL regular season point - an assist - on October 10, 2007 versus the Moose Jaw Warriors, while his first WHL goal was scored on October 20, 2007 versus the Brandon Wheat Kings. During his rookie season with the Tigers, Linden also played for Team West, capturing a bronze medal, at the 2008 World U-17 Championships in London, ON. Linden is the younger brother of Shaun Vey, who was a graduate of the Tri-City Americans (WHL). Linden was a drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 4th round (96th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and during the 2009-10 season, Linden was selected to play for Team WHL at the 2009 Super Series versus Russia. After scoring points in 12 straight games during the month of February (2010), Linden was named the WHL Player of the Month.
