Linden was drafted by the Tigers in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft with the 42nd pick in the 2nd round. Last season was Linden's second season with the Tigers where he finished second in team scoring with 72 points. During his rookie season with the Tigers, Linden also played for Team West, capturing a bronze medal, at the 2008 World U-17 Championships in London, ON. Linden is the younger brother of Shaun Vey, who was a graduate of the Tri-City Americans (WHL). Most recently, Linden was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 4th round (96th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
