Born September 2nd, 1989 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan…acquired by the Blades from the Regina Pats along with a 4th round Bantam Draft pick in 2008 for forward Michael MacAngus, a 3rd round Bantam Draft pick in 2008, and a 5th round Bantam Draft pick in 2008 on January 10th, 2007…originally selected by the Pats in the 6th round (102nd overall) in the 2004 WHL Bantam Draft…played his midget hockey with the Saskatoon Contacts (SMAAAHL), where he was a member of the 2005 Telus Cup national midget championship team…made his WHL debut (as member of the Regina Pats) on January 31st, 2006 versus the Prince Albert Raiders…recorded his first WHL point, goal, multiple point, and multiple goal game on September 22nd, 2006 versus the Swift Current Broncos…made his debut in a Blades uniform on January 12th, 2007 versus the Moose Jaw Warriors…picked up his first goal and point as a Blade in that game…had his first multiple point game with the Blades on January 13th, 2007 versus the Moose Jaw Warriors…recorded his first multiple goal game as a Blade on January 30th, 2007…had the first three-point game of his career on November 19th, 2008 versus the Kootenay Ice…was a member of Team WHL at the 2008 ADT Canada-Russia Challenge in Prince Albert, Sask.
