MOOSE JAW WARRIORS JOB OPPORTUNITY: Manager, Events & Hockey Programs
The Moose Jaw Warriors, a community owned franchise in the Western Hockey League, has an immediate opening for the full time position of Manager, Events/Hockey Programs.
The successful candidate will be an energetic, positive individual who is detailed orientated and excels at event management. The primary focus of this person will be to oversee and execute all game day elements including sponsor fulfillment, game night staffing and scripting. This person will also coordinate all other Warriors special events including hall of fame weekend; golf tournaments; parents weekend; team banquets and more; Coordinate hockey events including prospects camp and training camp; Launch and manage the branding of Warrior hockey schools and development programs; Liaison with Moose Jaw minor hockey, Warriors alumni and Booster Club; Hockey ops assistance: administration.
Knowledge of the Warriors, Western Hockey League and City of Moose Jaw would be assets for this position. Preference will be given to those with post-secondary education in Event Management. This position will report to the Director of Business Operations and comes with a competitive wage and benefits package.

SPOKANE CHIEFS SEEKING PART-TIME SASKATCHEWAN SCOUT
The Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club has an opening for a part time scouting representative in the Saskatchewan area.
The Saskatchewan Area Scout will report to the Spokane Chiefs Director of Player Personnel and General Manager.
Responsibilities would include:
• Identifying players primarily within Saskatchewan with crossover to Alberta and Manitoba;
• Communicate and work closely with the Director of Player Personnel in identifying and submitting reports on all players considered to be of interest for listing, drafting or inviting to the Spokane Chiefs Fall Camp;
• Scout and attend specific tournaments and special events as directed by the Director of Player Personnel and Chiefs management;
• Attend and assist the Spokane Chiefs with the annual Western Hockey League Bantam Draft;
• Attend and assist with the Spokane Chiefs Fall Camp.
The Spokane Chiefs Saskatchewan Area Scout will be able to fulfill his obligations by working within the budget framework as established by Chiefs’ management.
