WHL This Week - Radio Edition is a weekly look around the Western Hockey League with host Jon Keen.
The show is available each week on the Website and heard around the League in team radio broadcasts.
On this week’s show Jon recaps Canada’s thrilling victory over Team U.S.A. on New Year’s Eve and shares comments from the Pats’ Jordan Eberle and the Chiefs’ Dustin Tokarski. The Boston Pizza WHL Player of the Week, Brandon Kozun of the Calgary Hitmen, is then highlighted along with his Club moving into top spot in the Mosaik MasterCard CHL Top 10. Mr. Keen also touches on the recent agreement reached between the WHL and FSN Northwest to broadcast six WHL regular season games on their full network this season.
Finally, two WHL B.C. Division rivals, the Kamloops Blazers and Kelowna Rockets, share an interesting travel experience that brought the two Clubs together over the holiday season.
