WHL Radio Show with Jon Keen: Episode 27

 

On this week’s edition of the WHL Radio Show, Jon Keen updates the 2017 WHL Playoffs picture heading into the weekend, with five of eight first-round series still rolling.

Bob Ridley, play-by-play voice of the Medicine Hat Tigers, chats with defenceman David Quenneville who had a big series against the Brandon Wheat Kings after returning to action following a broken leg earlier this season.

Phil Andrews, play-by-play voice of the Regina Pats, talks with CHL Player of the Week Sam Steel. The veteran forward and Anaheim Ducks prospect led his club to a four-game sweep of the Calgary Hitmen.

Finally, former four-year WHLer Dylan Willick helped the University of New Brunswick capture a second straight University Cup men’s hockey championship. The former Kamloops Blazers captain shares his experience and story of life after the WHL as he utilizes his WHL Scholarship.
