Episode 25 of the WHL Radio Show with Jon Keen, features Vancouver Giants defenceman Bowen Byram and his new WHL record. Byram scored a sixth overtime goal last weekend in Tri-City to stand alone as most overtime goals in a single season. The top prospect for the upcoming 2019 NHL Entry Draft will talk about his prowess in extra time this season and the upcoming NHL Draft.

The WHL has announced record-breaking numbers for the 2018-19 academic year with the WHL Scholarship Program. It’s also now surpassed $25 million dollars in funding going back to the 1993-94 academic year. WHL Director of Operations and Manager of Education Services Greg Gardner will join us to discuss the new numbers and talk more about the program.

Finally, Red Deer Rebels Owner, President, General Manager, and Head Coach Brent Sutter recently hit a WHL coaching milestone with his 500th win. He’ll discuss his run behind the Rebels’ bench.
