WHL Radio Show with Jon Keen – Episode 24

This week, we hear from the first ever player under contract by the NHL’s expansion Las Vegas Golden Knights. The Knights signing Brandon Wheat Kings forward Reid Duke to an NHL entry-level contract this week.

The University of Alberta Golden Bears are Canada West Men’s Hockey Champions. They defeated the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in the best-of-three final. The Golden Bears were led by a third period hat-trick from WHL Graduate Jamie Crooks. We’ll recap the deciding game.

Prince George Cougars forward Jansen Harkins has piece of PG history. He’ll be our guest to discuss his memorable weekend as the Cougars battle for the BC Division title.

Finally, Lethbridge Hurricanes captain Tyler Wong is the WHL Player of the Week. He recently reached the 100 point plateau and is on the verge of scoring 50 goals. He’ll wrap up the show with us.
