The 18th edition of the WHL Radio Show with Jon Keen hears from the latest WHL alumni to play an NHL game. Defenceman Joe Hicketts has become the first ever Victoria Royal to play in the National Hockey League.  He tells us about the experience with the Detroit Red Wings and about representing the Royals on the big stage.

NHL Central Scouting has listed 43 WHL players in its Mid-Term Rankings released this week. Jon has the full rundown.

It’s called WHL in 30, a new condensed WHL broadcast in 30 minutes. WHL Commissioner Ron Robison joins us to discuss the new weekly feature.

Finally, Everett Silvertips forward Matt Fonteyne has been named the WHL On The Run Player of the Week.  He’ll close out the show talking about his week and the play of his U.S. Division leading Everett Silvertips.
