WHL on Shaw to broadcast Kelowna-Kamloops series

 

Calgary, Alta. – The WHL announced today that the WHL on Shaw will begin its coverage of the 2017 WHL Playoffs with the first round series between the Kelowna Rockets and Kamloops Blazers.

The heated B.C. Division rivalry will kick off in Kelowna Friday night at 7:00 p.m. PT. The two clubs renew acquaintances after meeting in the first round of the 2016 WHL Playoffs when the Rockets skated away with a hard fought seven-game series win.

SERIES PREVIEW

All games will be televised on the full Shaw TV Network, Shaw HD 304, Blue Sky 604, Shaw Direct 299 and Shaw Direct HD 120/620.

Regina-Calgary Series for Shaw Subscribers

Shaw TV subscribers will also have access to the first round series between the Regina Pats and the Calgary Hitmen, produced by Access7. All games of the Eastern Conference series will be televised on Shaw HD 359, Blue Sky 630 and Shaw Direct 122/622. Additionally, viewers in Southern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba can catch this series on their local Shaw TV station.
