The Western Hockey League completed its 20-year-old cut-down draft on Thursday, October 11.

The Everett Silvertips selected 20-year-old defenceman Connor Cox in the draft, while releasing 20-year-old forward Cody Fowlie.  Cox was released by the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday.

WHL Clubs had until 10:00am MST on Thursday to designate their maximum of three 20-year-old players.  Selection in Thursday’s cut-down draft was done in inverse order of the current WHL standings.

The following 20-year-old players are now free agents following Thursday’s cut-down draft:

Moose Jaw – Austin Bourhis, defence
