WHL announces High Performance Officiating Exposure Camp
Marissa Baecker

The Western Hockey League will be hosting a High Performance Officiating Exposure Camp to enhance the development and performance of the top officiating prospects in Western Canada and the United States.

This camp will be an opportunity for officials to showcase their skills and abilities to members of the WHL Officiating Supervisory staff.

This camp will be a significant opportunity for officials to demonstrate their abilities, and participants at this camp will be selected to attend the WHL Referee or Linesmen Training Camp in August and be given the opportunity to compete for a spot on the WHL Officiating Team. From last year’s camp several referees and linesmen were selected to join the WHL Officiating Team for the 2016-17 season.

Officials with aspirations to be on the WHL Officiating staff should consider applying for this high performance officiating development opportunity.
