RED DEER, AB – Jesse Wallin, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today they have signed forward Adam Musil to a Western Hockey League contract. Musil was the Rebels’ first round selection, 6th overall, in the 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft and participated in the team’s prospect camp this past weekend in Penhold.
Musil had 98 points (58-40-98) in 60 games with the Burnaby Winter Club in 2011-12 and is the son of former National Hockey League defenceman Frank Musil. He is not eligible to play for the Rebels full time until the 2013-14 WHL season.
