Prince Albert SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 18-year-old defenceman Shayne Gwinner from the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for a 4^th round selection in the 2013 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft and a 6^th round pick in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

Gwinner, a native of Drumheller, Alberta, played in 51 games with the Warriors in the 2011-2012 season, scoring 2 goals and adding 9 assists along with a plus/minus rating of plus-12. The 6’1”, 180-pound blue liner also recorded 51 penalty minutes last season in Moose Jaw.

“We are excited to have acquired and 18-year-old defenceman in Shayne,” said Raiders general Manager Bruno Campese. “He will add depth and experience to our back end heading into the season.”
