MOOSE JAW WARRIORS: O'Leary Named Assistant Coach

Moose Jaw, SK--- Warriors General Manager Alan Millar announced today that Mark O'Leary has been named the hockey club's new Assistant Coach.

O'Leary replaces Trevor Weisgerber who spent the last two seasons as the club's Assistant Coach. "We wish to thank Trevor for his time with the Warriors and wish him the best in his future endeavours" stated Millar.

O'Leary joins the Warriors following an 8 year playing career that included: 218 games in the OHL with the Mississauga IceDogs (2003-04) and Guelph Storm (2004-06). Mark also played 5 years in the AHL, ECHL and CHL with Rio Grande Valley and Laredo in the Central Hockey League and Grand Rapids in the American Hockey League, along with Reading, Trenton, Phoenix, Johnstown and Cincinnati in the East Coast Hockey League.

"We are pleased to add Mark to our coaching staff" stated Millar. "Mark was a player who played the game hard, smart, gritty and with determination. He is a student of the game and those around him have always believed he had a future in coaching" concluded Millar.

O'Leary will be in town this week for the Warriors 3rd annual Men's Alumni Golf Tournament Friday at Hillcrest. Mark will join the Warriors on August 15th in preparation for the hockey club's training camp beginning August 23rd.
