Cranbrook, B.C. – The Kootenay ICE Hockey Club is pleased to announce it’s donated $25,000 to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Kootenays Branch.

Before Friday’s game against the Tri-City Americans, Kootenay ICE Governor Greg Fettes presented a cheque to Canadian Mental Health Association, Kootenays Branch Executive Director Carey Fraser. ICE defenceman Loeden Schaufler took part in the cheque presentation as well.

“Mental health is an important topic to me personally, our staff and players,” said Fettes. “The CMHA is doing very important work in the community and we are excited to contribute.”
