For CHL Picks of the Week you will need to pick the winner of a game in the Western Hockey League, OHL and QMJHL. Simply make your picks for each game and you’ll accumulate points based on the number of picks you get correct. Each correct pick will earn one (1) point. Come back after the end of each week to make your picks for the next round.

The Week Five matchup in the WHL sees an East Division clash between the Saskatoon Blades and Prince Albert Raiders on the Raiders’ home turf of the Art Hauser Centre. As two of the top four teams in the league this year, they’ve kept the East Division one of the strongest in the entire league.

With a 5-1-0-0 record through six games of their season series, the Raiders have earned bragging rights against their geographical rival with a 5-1-0-0 record through the first six games of the season series. The two teams will meet at the SaskTel Centre Friday night as well. Prince Albert has won all three meetings at the Art Hauser Centre this year and are led by Cole Fonstad (Montreal Canadiens), who has 11 points (2G-9A) in six games to lead scoring in the season series.

Countering for the Blades is defenceman Dawson Davidson, who leads his team in the season series with five points (2G-3A) and leads all WHL defencemen in scoring with 73 points (13G-60A). The Blades are one of the hottest teams in the WHL at the moment, riding a seven-game winning streak. Since the Blades’ winning streak began, 2019 NHL Draft prospect Kirby Dach leads the team with 10 points (3G-7A).

Make your prediction, along with your selections for winners in the OHL and QMJHL for an opportunity to win great prizes from the CHL!
