Swift Current, SK – Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb, has announced that the club has signed forward Glenn Gawdin to a Western Hockey League contract.

Gawdin was selected fifth overall by the Broncos in the recent 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.  The 6’1, 170-pound native of Richmond, BC recorded 90 points (58 goals and 32 assists) in 43 games played with the Seafair Islanders of the PCBHL.

“He is a good sized right handed shot,” states Assistant General Manager and Director of Player Personnel, Jamie Porter.  “He skates well, we really like his skill level and compete level and we think he will develop into an impact player for our organization.”
